OUR STORY
In 1976, Metro Nashville’s laws changed, allowing liquor licenses and stores in the suburbs. Luther Hoyte Eakes, owner of the chain SDI Markets, believed that a liquor and wine store would be an excellent neighbor for a convenience store. He opened the first Liquors, Inc. on Thompson Lane, where the store proved to be a massive success. The store moved to its current location almost 20 years ago and continues to be operated as a family partnership to this day. In his memory and honor, the family renamed the store Luther’s Liquors, and continues to strive for excellence in customer service.
